In 2018 ipHaus partnered with a charitable organization to develop highly affordable, off-grid and low impact relief housing for the worst hit rural areas of Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria struck in 2017. This durable unit would be suitable for communities in rural area, incorporating off-grid, nodal infrastructure solutions for resiliency and to support community growth.
